We feel honoured to be the first visitors to Rose Cottage! Having previously stayed at Poppy Cottage 3 times, we have had twins and outgrown it. We were delighted to hear Diane and Pete were renovating a 3 bed property! Rose Cottage is lovely and Elias has really enjoyed seeing the cows, chickens and ducks. Florrie has learnt the sign for duck too! We have enjoyed trips out to Puxton Park (great for little ones), Longleat Safari Park (well worth the drive), West Somerset Railway, Clevedon and Portishead. Pullens Bakers in Yatton and Clevedon is well worth a visit. We also visited Cadburys Wyevale Garden Centre in Yatton, which has crazy pirate golf, lots of pets and Costa Coffee. Thank you Diane and Pete for being so welcoming and accommodating. We will definitely be booking a return visit in the future. Best wishes,
the Campbell Family, Norwich, Norfolk
Thank you Diane and Pete. We had a wonderful time in your lovely Poppy Cottage and we'll see you again soon. Thank you again.

Thank you for a fantastic holiday. We really enjoyed staying here. We were recommended this location from friends who have previously been here on several holidays before. Particularly enjoyed the showers!! The space was great for the children to run around in a safe environment. We visited Puxton Park which the children enjoyed, had a wonderful time at SS Great Britain in Bristol, well worth a visit. Noah's Ark was also a good place to take the children to. Thank you for the map of the local area which showed the fields which you owned; this was very helpful and enabled us to have a lovely walk down to the wildlife ponds. The children had a great adventure!

Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at 'The Ox House' – lovely setting, very peaceful. Plenty of good walks – and garden centre on A370 in Congresbury is worth a visit. We thank God for the fine weather (hottest day since 1976!). Copse Road Chapel, Clevedon very welcoming. Thank you Diane and Pete.

After visiting our friends here last year we copied them this year. They stayed next door. It is a wonderful area and such a well-equipped cottage. The children have enjoyed being so close to their buddy 'Jack'. We've enjoyed eating together and taking days out to local attractions. We've had some slow days to enjoy the village too. Top holiday, thankyou!

Another lovely tranquil week with everything here we needed. We saw so much wildlife. It was also a good opportunity to visit Clevedon Bookshop and Tyntesfield again and for both of us to see relations. Thank you very much.

We have all had a wonderful time. The cottage is lovely, very comfortable and easy. It is also very well equipped. We found everything we needed and more! The surrounding farmland is beautiful. I've spent many happy mornings looking out of the french doors drinking my tea looking at the wildlife and the occasional horse, pony, tractor going by. We are close to our family so it's an ideal location. I've loved the peace, quiet and tranquility. Loved it here and can't wait to come back in the Summer. Thank you Diane and Pete.

We have enjoyed our stay at Poppy Cottage. The playground is amazing. We went to Cheddar Gorge and walked all the way up Jacob's Ladder and lookout tower. On rainy Monday we went to Clevedon swimming pool. We went to Noah's Ark Zoo Farm. On the last full day we went to Animal Farm Adventure Park.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful part of creation with us. Every day of our holiday in this perfect stress-free environment has been superb: walks/views/weather plus some fun trips, such as the open-topped bus from Sand Bay to see the sand sculptures and visit to the East Somerset Railway are highlights to remember. A precious time with Grandson Ben. Thank you.

The sparrowhawk has been disrupting the bird feeding area, but that's nature. The squirrel is just a plain nuisance. We have enjoyed many sightings of the Roe deer in the field next to the accommodation. She has a fairly large fawn which is still suckling. Amazingly, we saw the buck one evening standing in the middle of the lane right outside the gate!
We have had a lovely time. Thank you.
Andy and Joy (Barnstaple, Devon)

What a lovely place! We have really enjoyed our stay at Poppy Cottage. It has been a lovely tranquil place and the children have enjoyed watching the birds and ducklings feeding outside the cottage. We have also seen the heron daily. Great location for exploring Somerset. We have been to Weston-super-Mare, walked along the Strawberry Line, visited Noah's Ark and Cheddar Gorge.

Beautiful cottage, very creatively furnished and decorated, every want provided for. Don't want to go home.Alan and Sue, Cornwall
A fantastic week spent at the beautiful Poppy Cottage. Our horses will be sad to go home as the stables and pasture land is simply PERFECT coupled with the bridle paths, beaches and not to mention the mass of land the Poppy Cottage owners, Diane and Pete provided at out disposal. Berrow Beach is recommended for long gallops and the odd cheeky log to jump by the sea. Thank you very much! We love it here.

We have had a wonderful week. Poppy Cottage is perfect in so many ways and we were so lucky to find you. Having worried about bringing our ponies with us thinking it would be hard work we couldn't have been so wrong. The girls have had their best ever holiday and the ponies are going home for a rest. Sand Bay was great for beach riding. Bristol beautiful - even in the rain. A lovely relaxing holiday. Thank you so much I'm sure we'll be back.

I have enjoyed this early holiday and have loved spending it at Lavender Cottage. So warm and cosy! Everything is at hand. At 91 yrs I hope to come again. Thank you to all.
We have had a wonderful week here, partly due to the weather, but mainly due to your warm and friendly welcome, with nothing too much trouble to make us feel at home. We loved Poppy Cottage, with poppies everywhere and it's so clean and comfortable – nice wide bed, constant hot water in the shower; and quiet! Also loved the scenery and wide horizons, as well as various trips to Weston Super Mare, Cheddar and Noah's Ark Zoo, where there is a wonderful display of Creationist material, as well as plenty of animals to see. Thank you so much and God bless.
Howard and Sheila, Surrey
Have enjoyed our stay here very much, very relaxing, lovely cottage, visited some interesting places. Also our first visit to Bristol: the 'floating harbour' and Brunel's SS Great Britain worth visiting and lovely walk along R Avon into City Centre. Will never forget the tour of Ham Farm! With God's Blessing.

We enjoyed days out to Cheddar, Wells, Noah's Ark Zoo Farm and a National Trust house. Hope to come back again.
